Post Signature: My question, this is my second marriage. If my husband needs a nursing home I know the home will take his retirement check. Can the state put a lean on my home?this was my home before we married in my name. His name is not on my checking, saving or anything else I have. My name is not on his either. Can the state take my home, my saving or anything that is in my name? I really need an answer. We may be facing this choice soon.
