| My 85 year old mother is currently in an assisted living home in Florida. We are applying for Medicaid assistance for health care. One of the questions in the assets is pre-paid funeral expenses. My mother desires to be cremated in Florida and buried next to my father in Maryland. What sources should I look at to advise me what is an allowable expense for the purpose of submitting the application? Thank you.
